Are lab-grown diamonds real?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, chemical composition, hardness and sparkle as a natural diamond. It is not a cubic zirconia or a moissanite.
Can a jeweller tell the difference?
Not by eye or with a standard loupe. Only specialised laboratory equipment can tell them apart, which is why every Qahira piece is certified lab-grown.
Will it last as long?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are 10 on the Mohs scale, exactly as hard as natural diamonds, and last a lifetime with normal care.
How long does a custom piece take?
Most custom pieces take 3 to 5 weeks depending on the design. We confirm the timeline with your quote.
